Local Man Wins The Sanctuary Resort and Spa Putt-Off

At AT&T Champions Classic

SANTA CLARITA, CA — Valencia resident, Anuj Bansal, won a putt-off contest held by The Sanctuary Resort and Spa at the AT&T Champions Classic during the final round at Valencia Country Club today. Bansal, putting three feet and three quarter inches away from the hole on the practice putting green, won a weeklong stay in a secluded two-story beach cottage only 50 feet from the beach in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Four competitors were drawn randomly from entries placed throughout the weekend and the winner was determined by the one to make the putt or get the ball closest to the hole.

The Sanctuary is a vacation destination where relaxation is the number one priority. Whether you stay in one of the beautiful Key West Colonial style condominiums, 2-level Seaside Cottages or rent one of the custom-designed private residences, you’ll find all of the elements to make your stay a personal retreat in paradise.

The Sanctuary Resort stretches over 80 acres and includes over 1.2 miles of pristine, secluded sandy beach. The sand is actually a dark blue and the locals have named this exceptional beach “Playa Azul”.
